For more than 30 years, HVO Meat has been supplying high-quality veal and lamb to wholesalers, butchers and catering suppliers. We are specialized in processing luxury white veal calves. We can supply this in all desired technical parts. We are a small, ambitious company where quality of both service and meat are of paramount importance. Our lambs come from the Netherlands or England. We supply beautiful suckling lambs in the spring and we are committed to selecting the most beautiful lambs throughout the year. We are not specialized in lightweight calves.
The taste of meat is very important, but responsible origin is just as important. We want our meat to come from animals that have had a decent life. The living conditions of veal calves are closely monitored. The calves must have sufficient room to move, light and ventilation, be given good food and be able to drink plenty of water. Floors are made of comfortable wood or rubber.

HVO Meat was founded in 1989 by Henk van Oijen as a cutting plant for calves and lambs. In 1996 the company was taken over by Martin de Jong, after which a growth of 5 to 15 employees was realized. In 2014, HVO Meat was taken over by Matthijs de Jong.
In 2022 we build a whole new company and moved toward Waddinxveen. From a workable space of 500 square meter toward 2500 square meter. This brings us to a point where we can serve the customer even more.
